The exhibition and accompanying catalogue highlight the work of 19th century British watercolourist Thomas Hartely Cromek, and draw on the original research collated by Suzanne Zack in her catalogue raisonné which is abridged in her biographical sketch in this publication.

Suzanne joined Chiswick Auctions as Head of the British and European Fine Art department in 2017. With overall responsibility for the British and European Fine Art sales, Suzanne has made some significant discoveries, including several previously unpublished works by John Constable RA.
Head of British Watercolours, Drawings and Portrait Miniatures Department, Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers, Bond Street, London (1993-2001)
Suzanne joined Phillips in 1993, as Head of Department, she was responsible for sourcing, researching and cataloguing many high profile works of art for auction. These included one of the earliest J M W Turner drawings to ever be auctioned, as well as rare examples by Thomas Gainsborough, Edward Lear and Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones.
