Catalogue to accompany the exhibition "Thomas Hartley Cromek: A Vision of Italy", held at Harewood House, Leeds and the Holburne Museum, Bath in 1999. The exhibition and accompanying catalogue highlight the work of 19th century British watercolourist Thomas Hartely Cromek, and draw on the original research collated by Suzanne Zack in her catalogue raisonné which is abridged in her biographical sketch in this publication.

Independent Fine Art Consultant (2001 to Present)

As an independent consultant Suzanne works with dealers, galleries, auction houses and collectors, both private and corporate.  

Whilst retaining a keen interest and knowledge within her specialist fields, Suzanne has developed her eye to appreciate, understand, identify and advise on high quality works of art across a broader spectrum of periods, genres and media. Suzanne takes particular interest in mixing historical and modern art in new and innovative ways.

BBC Antiques Roadshow, Pictures Expert (2017 to Present)

Suzanne joined the specialist team at the Antiques Roadshow in 2017, where she is currently a member of the Pictures and Prints expert team

Head of British and European Fine Art and Portrait Miniatures, Chiswick Auctions, London (2017 - 2020)

Suzanne joined Chiswick Auctions as Head of the British and European Fine Art department in 2017. With overall responsibility for the British and European Fine Art sales, Suzanne has made some significant discoveries, including several previously unpublished works by John Constable RA.

Head of British Watercolours, Drawings and Portrait Miniatures Department, Phillips Fine Art Auctioneers, Bond Street, London (1993-2001)

Suzanne joined Phillips in 1993, as Head of Department, she was responsible for sourcing, researching and cataloguing many high profile works of art for auction. These included one of the earliest J M W Turner drawings to ever be auctioned, as well as rare examples by Thomas Gainsborough, Edward Lear and Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones.
